What is your role at AlumniFinder?
I am the Marketing Manager for AlumniFinder. My role at AlumniFinder is all about writing! Whether it is developing customer-facing materials, writing blog posts, or working with the different teams to create topical campaign content, my job is to develop and communicate the AlumniFinder story. I am excited by the opportunity to support AlumniFinder’s successes by developing stellar marketing material!
What charitable foundation(s) do you support?
I have been a sponsor of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 2008 after joining Tri Delta, one of St. Jude’s National Philanthropic Partners, at Stetson University. St. Jude is an amazing pediatric treatment and research facility that covers the total cost of treatment, travel, housing and food because all a family should worry about is helping their child.
What are 3 words to describe AlumniFinder?
Hard-working. Community. Generous.
Before working at AlumniFinder, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
When I was in college, I interned for the Minor League Baseball team Daytona Cubs and no day on that job was the same. I did everything from hauling beer kegs across the stadium, dressing up as the mascot, and organizing the between-innings ballpark games during the games.
What are you currently binge watching?
I was late to the game with Orange is the New Black, so right now I’m on season 5, but I always have The Office on repeat!
What’s the best advice you were ever given?
“Don’t sweat the small stuff… and it’s all small stuff!”
If you were an animal, what would it be and why?
If I were an animal, I would be a dolphin because they’re friendly and live in the ocean.
